What is a vaping device?

A vaping device, or e-cigarette, is an electronic gadget that heats e-liquid to produce an aerosol for inhalation. These devices vary in size and complexity, and the e-liquid usually contains ingredients like propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin, flavorings, and nicotine. Vaping is often seen as an alternative to traditional smoking.

Who can use vaping devices?

Vaping devices are for adult smokers looking for alternatives to traditional cigarettes and it is restricted to individuals aged 18 and older.

What are your operating hours?

Monday to Friday = 9am – 5pm,  Saturday = 9am-1pm and Sunday Closed.

Where else can I find your products?

You can find our products in store, Spar Stores nationwide, on Uber Eats or via our online website.

Do you sell wholesale to the public?

Yes we do, please email us on info@vapeafrica.co.za.

Do you fix vape devices?

No, we unfortunately do not.

Why have your liquids gotten so expensive?

On 1 June 2023 the South African government implemented an excise tax on vaping products, which includes a flat excise duty rate of R2.90 per ml.

Orders

Which payment methods do you accept?

In store we accept cash and card payments. Online we accept Payflex and Direct EFT.

How long until I receive my order?

Once we receive your proof of payment and process your order, delivery can take 1-3 business.

Can I place my order over the telephone?

No, please visit our online store.

Can I send my own courier to collect my parcel?

Yes, upon checkout select the collect in-store option and leave us a note who will be collecting your parcel for you.

Do you ship out of South Africa?

Unfortunately, not however, you are able to arrange your own courier.

How do I track my parcel?

We will send you’re the tracking number via email which you can use on the chosen couriers website.

Do you ship during public holidays and weekends?

Our delivery service does not include shipment during public holidays and weekends. If you choose to place an order during this period, we will aim to ship it on the next working day.

Do you accept screenshots as a proof of payment?

No, please forward the proof of payment directly from your banking app.

Disposables

What is a disposable vape?

A disposable vape is a pre-filled, single-use vaping device that comes ready to use out of the box.

Are all disposables rechargeable?

No, generally the larger puff counts are rechargeable.

Can I refill my disposable?

Disposable vapes are specifically created for single-use purposes. After the e-liquid is fully consumed or the battery is depleted, it is recommended to discard the device in an environmentally responsible manner.

How long does a disposable vape last?

It’s important to note that puff duration can vary based on an individual’s usage patterns.
