Geekvape Zeus Dual RTA Review

The First Zeus was, in my opinion, one of the biggest game changers since the OBS Engine. We finally had a top airflow RTA system that didn’t restrict us to a 510 drip tip. It was a great RTA but unfortunately, I found it far too tricky to align up the airflow when trying to reassemble the tank. Another small problem for me was that I loved all the fancy no leak technology but really struggled to get the vapour production I was looking for out of a single coil. Que the Zeus Dual. It solved every problem I had with the original Zeus. No more cage, no more tricky alignment skills required, Bigger capacity and of course space for two coils. This won’t be a very long review, I’m only going to run over the Pros, Cons and my final thoughts on the tank – For pictures or an in depth look at the product please head over to YouTube. I find the flavour on the Zeus to be the best I’ve ever come across on a top airflow system. Granted, my experience with top airflow is somewhat limited. I’ve spent time with a few of the top contenders in the top airflow RTA field and can comfortably say that the only one I still see myself using daily is the Zeus Dual. It’s easy to build on, a breeze to wick and truly does not take all that much trial and error to get right. As for the aesthetics, this must be, with the exception of the Zeus branding, the prettiest RTA I’ve seen. Rivalled in looks only by the new Dead Rabbit RTA. It just looks simple, clean and easy – In all its available colours. The Tank is a 25mm, on the larger side, although this seems to be the new trend of late. A bubble glass allows you to hold 5.5ml of E-liquid. In older Zeus tanks you won’t find the bubble glass, it was initially sold separately. Now days all the Zeus dual tanks I’ve seen in stores include the bubble glass. The Deck is dual coil of course and uses “post-less” configuration which also allows for a single coil build. The deck is slightly raised so the juice will wick the coils from underneath. Filling the Zeus is easy peasy lemon squeezy. The Zeus Dual has a bayonet style top-cap, just turn and it pops off revealing 2 large filling slots. filling the tank is very quick, it just takes the slightest of turns to release the top-cap or secure it back into position. When wicked correctly the Zeus Dual performs like an absolute monster. As mentioned before the vapour and flavour on this tank are unparalleled in the top airflow market. It is still without any doubt my favourite dual coil top airflow RTA. Dare I say all-time favourite RTA? Pros Looks great Excellent build quality Top to bottom/side airflow system Postless deck Leak Resistant Lots of spares Great flavour Big clouds Dual or Single Coil Top-fill 810 or 510 drip tips Easy to use top-fill-cap Cons Wicking for the first time can be a little intimidating, although still a very good tank to learn how to build on.
