Geekvape Zues X RTA review

Introduction

The GeekVape Zeus X RTA carrying the thunder God’s name was released in 2019 has now become one of the most popular rebuildable tanks in the vape industry to date, with some going as far as calling it iconic. This is the fourth top-airflow RTA the company produced which promises a leak-proof vaping experience, effortless coil mounting and exceptional flavour. The Zeus X is a 25mm RTA supporting single and dual coil builds on a raised post less deck.
Look into the RTA…

The tank is a 25mm at its base and 29mm at the bubble glass, which holds a 4.5mL juice capacity with the bubble glass and 3.5mL with the straight glass fitted. The face of the Zeus is still engraved nicely on the chimney which details is impressive. The threads throughout the atomizer are nice and smooth with the airflow ring having just the right amount of resistance on it to move easily when need but not on its own. The Zeus has no fancy filling mechanism, just a quarter turn on the top removes the vape where you’ll have two rather medium kidneys style fill holes which gets the job done.
The Zues X has an extraordinary airflow system which is both top to bottom and side to bottom airflow including the addition of an internal airflow chamber which has 14 honeycomb style holes on both sides. The tank is compatible with a Goon-style 810 Drip tip however 810s with O-rings will work snug on it, including a 510 adapter which I find to be a nice addition as they give you the option if you prefer the 510 style mouth piece. The post less style deck received a major facelift as well which looks more crisp and cleaner, helping a lot with putting your preferred builds into the your RTA.

Verdict

Geekvape has seriously out done themselves with this RTA and I’m extremely impressed by it. The looks to the performance, put’s it way above the rest of the top airflow RTA’s out there. I was looking and hoping for major improvements from the Zues Dual RTA and I’ve pretty much got it. The deck being easy to build on and to wick, to the nice juice capacity with the bubble glass on to the clever airflow system, all factors providing to the exquisite flavour production. It’s definitely a great addition to the series, and if this really is the “final edition”, as it says on the box, at least it’s going out in the blaze of glory. Also if you have the Zeus Dual, the bubble glass fits as does the one from the Kylin 2 RTA and vice versa, which I found to be very convenient.
